Bio

Collin Cademartori is an assistant professor in the Department of Statistical Sciences at Wake Forest University. Before joining Wake Forest, Collin received his Ph.D. in Statistics from Columbia University where he was co-advised by Andrew Gelman and Cynthia Rush.

His research focuses on the metholodgical challenges posed by high dimensional (Bayesian) models. His work has studied the relationship between model expansion, parameter identification, and predictive evaluation. He also works on improving statistics education with technology, specifically through the use of web-based interactives for teaching difficult concepts in introductory statistics.
